re: james johnstone kubreckinshire(sp)

I have found more information regarding my great grandfather.He was born Jan 27, 1883 to james and sarah walker johnstone. he had four brothers albert william, thomas henry, robert david, and john.he also had three sisters margaret jane, sarah ellen, and isabel.my great grandfather actually immigrated to the US in 1911.he was born in creetown, kircubrighshire.i have not found this place to still exist so anyone with information please let me know.thomas henry and his wife meg lived at the farm gattehouse of fleet.aunt meg visited my family in montana, i assume, in the 70's; no one could remember for sure.at the time the scot government was trying to annex the farm to build the town.result:gatehouse of fleet is a town in southwest scotland but i have no more information on aunt meg.aunt meg had a grandson named tom gilmore from canada and her last known address was Denoon ar Argylleshire.if anyone knows of the whereabouts of my scottish family i would greatly appreiciate it.
