Hi Nora:Wondered if you were still following this family but especially that of Vincent M. Joiner (Joyner) of Clarke Co AL.The 1850 census shows a daughter, Lucy Ellenore. I've seen other family trees where Eleanor Joiner married William Hughes (c.1842) but they don't specify her parentage or give sources for her marriage. I believe the Eleanor (sometime misread as Elender) is the same as Lucy Ellenore of the 1850 census.I don't know where she is in 1860. By 1870 Eleanor Joiner shows up as the wife of William Hughes in Conecuh Co AL, as they do in 1880; by 1900 they are in Santa Rosa Co FL. Eleanor seems to have died by 1903 according to the family trees posted on Ancestry, but they don't state where she died (but possibly in Florida). William died in 1924 in Alabama. Would like to hear from you concerning the Joiner (Joyner) family and the Hughes family.Thanks.
