Curtis Joiner is the younger brother of Asa Joiner. Asa died in 1896 had another brother William David Joiner who was a promient preacher in Alabama and Georgia. Curtis Joiner like his other two brothers were ministers.Curtis was pastor of a small church (the same church twice) first time about 1848 and the second time about 1862) in Olgethorpe Georgia, Macon County. My great grandfather George Smith lived there before civil war and my great grandmother was the granddaughter of Asa Joiner.
