I am your cousin Rita. I am the daughter of Rick Jolicoeur and Terry Long.
Rick married Nancy Severnak after divorcing my mother and they had three children. My brothers Richard "Ricky" Earl James Jolicoeur, Christopher Lionel Jolicoeur and my sister Erin Nicole Jolicoeur.
I am almost certain we never met, however Grandma was always great and sending me pictures of everyone. Although I was not in Alaska since I was an infant, I remained in contact with Grandma and Grandpa through the years. I was fortunate to have them visit a few times both when I lived in North Carolina and in New York. Grandma was able to come to my wedding, which always meant so much to me.
Unfortunately the lasst time I saw grandma was at Great-Grandma's funeral in RI.
It was very hard to lose them both as I always felt distant from my Jolicoeur family. I have always wanted to know as much as possible and have felt saddened that I was never able to visit in my adulthood. I have also been in touch with Grandma's sister Pat. On two occasions she stopped by my home in NY for a visit while she was "trucking". It was nice to have family that I never had the opportunity to meet. I loved reading the information you posted as well as the note from one of grandpa's friends.
