Don't know that it will turn out to be anything, but my name is Barb Jolley. My brother is John (2 sons and a daughter), my father is Robert Jolley, his brother is William (Bill) Jolley, their father was William (Bill Jolley) and that is as far back as I know (not very far at all).

William Jolley, my grandfather, passed away very young.I was 8 years old when he died.I am now 34 so he died in... 1974? I think '74.He'd contracted Polio as an adult and his heart was weakened by the disease.He survived the Polio but died of a heart attack later.I can't tell you when he was born but it would have been somewhere around 1910'ish. We all live in South Western Ontario but I have no idea where he met my grandmother.She was born in Wales and grew up in Saskatchewan.So somewhere between Saskatchewan and Ontario, the two met.William Jolley's wife, my grandmother just passed away on the 27 of December 2000 (a few days ago) so I can't get any information straight from grandmother anymore.If any of this rings a bell with you I would be happy to ask my father if he knows more.
