Re: Malachi Jolley, 1757, NC

I do not have a Malachi in my Jolley database.Joseph Jolley (b. ~ 1715; NC or VA) apprears to be the first Jolley of record in the Pitt/Beaufort Co. NC area.He had 5 sons.The three oldest, Joseph Jr., Jesse, and John were all old enough to have children born in the mid 1750s.Jesse is my direct line.The children of John are known and a Malachi is not listed among them.The children of Joseph Jr. are not well documented, just one, William, is is in my database. It is possible that Malachi could be his son.This is only speculation on my part at this time.
