Re: JORDANS IN PENNSYLVANIA, 1600-1700'S
I have a Mary Jordan b. ab 1804 in Fayette Co.,Pa d. Jan 1882 in Monroe Co., Ohio, in my husband's line. She married an Abia(h) Logan b. 1797 in Huntingdon Co., Pa. This family is seen living in Fayette Co. in the 1830 federal census between an elderly Joseph Jordan and a younger Edward Jordan. His name is mistakenly recorded as Obadiah Logan.Autosomal dna between descendants of this Jordan/Logan and Whetzel/Jordan line are being categorized as 3rd-4th cousins (which they would be if Mary were the sister of Elizabeth Jordan Whetzel). I believe this Mary Jordan Logan could be the daughter Mary named in Edward's will that you mentioned.
