Our Jordan line was from Washington Co., Pa then Ohio. Jacob Jordan b 1764 in Loudoun,Va and on his 16th birthday he enlisted as a drummer boy in the Revolutionary War.
Jacob married Mary Ann Shriver in 1785 and lived in Washington Co., Pa until about 1805 or 1806 when they moved to Ohio. They had 9 sons and 2 daughters. All of whom moved on to Ohio and some moved on to Il, IN, and Iowa
The sons were Adam, Peter, Garrett, Jacob, Isaac, Abraham, John, Elijah, and David. The two girls were Sarah and Elizabeth.
