looking for Sarah or Rebecca Jordan

I am trying to find out who the family of my 9th great grand father was.His name was Thomas Stanford.He was born in 1618 in Falmouth, Cumberland, ME.I believe he married Sarah Jordan born about 1622 in Falmouth, Cumberland, ME.But I have seen other records that say he may have married Rebecca Jordan.Sarah died in 1683 in Falmouth, ME.I hope someone out in cyber space has information for me.
