Dear Julianne, My name is Corrinna Kuebler Jennings. I have posted to you before but didn't have a link but now I think I have one. The line of Jacob Jordan and Mary Ann Shriver. I just don't know if it ties in with Joshua Jordan. I can't figure that one out yet. It goes like this:
Patrick Peter Jordan
Jacob and Mary Ann Jordan
Adam and Anna Maple Jordan
Jacob and Suzanne McBride Jordan
Adam Jordan b. abt. 1838

My Adam Jordan was born in 1837. That is from the tombstone. He died in 1862 of typhoid fever during the war. He is buried at Yankee Hill Cemetery in Pike County. He was married to Delilah Cooper in 1854. They had 3 children before the war broke out. 1 only lived to adulthood which is my John Wesley Jordan. He married a Dianah Blosser and they had 15 children. 13 lived to adulthood. Adam and Delilah’s son Adam Jr. died at the age between 20-21 years. Their other son Clark died at age 4. He is buried at the foot of Adam Jordan Sr. We have been told through family that Adam’s father was a Jacob Jordan from Guernsey County, Noble County. I can not verify this as we have been unsuccessful in getting a death certificate for out Adam. But I came across this site on family tree maker and it listed Jordan’s back to Ireland from a Patrick Jordan and further down it listed Jacob and Suzanne McBride Jordan children and I couldn’t believe it. I would very much like to get our heads together and try and get as much information as possible. A lot of my Jordan line still live in Ohio. I am retired Navy and live in Norfolk, Virginia right now. I have two daughters 11 and 6. I just retired last year after 20 years and had time on my hands and have taken over my line genealogy which my mother and father have been piecing together over the years. I will be visiting Ohio this summer and hope to be collecting some more data at the libraries and court houses. I hope we can make a connection and I hope I can help you. I think I also have been able to find a connection with the McBride family too. Please email me when you can. I mainly go by the name Connie. Jenco_2002@hotmail.com.Thank you.
