I need more info on james Hiram Jordan.This is my husbands line. I saw the Jeffersonville, Indiana, thought that we may be looking at the same fellow, although mine is born 1790, but this could be a typo...hope not.He married two times. Rachel Walton (died) and then Merci Leighton.Both marriages gave him children:
1st- Elias, Rachel, James and Hiram.
2nd- Solomon, Nathaniel, and Humphrey.
Rachel, from the first marriage, married Avery Spicer.Their daughter, Nancy Elizabeth, married Daniel Thomas Marshall of Jefferson Co. This marriage produced my husbands grandfather, Dempsey Marshall, he was the father of Harold Marshall, then my husband George.All in the Jefferson Co. area.Any names look familiar?Hope so!Looking forward to filling in some of the empty spaces.Diana
