I also have a copy of this book.I descend from Mathew Peeples Jordan, Cumi Civilla Jordan, Ruth Mary Butler.Ruth was my great grandmother.

As far as this book goes.I'm a little confused, maybe you can help.It says that one of Jacob Jackson Jordan's children is Hartis Deborah Beatrice Fletcher Jordan who married Dennis Sumrall.That is listed in part II - 4.Now if you go to Part II - 166, it says that J. William Jordan is the son of Hartis Jordan and grandson of Jacob Jackson Jordan.Something doesn't ring right.Did I miss something?Could there be 2 Hartis Jordan's and I over looked one of them?The ones I see is one a female and one is a male?Do you understand this?

Also, I'm looking for information on Cumi's husband's (Marshall Hulon Butler) family.Does anyone have this information.
