I have made contact with one of the descendants of Granville Sharp Patterson Jordan. He knew my cousin Foster Duggan, who had given him some of our family information. I a waiting for him to send that information to me via snail-mail. Once I get it, I may be able to determine the connections.
Until I know who the father of Nancy E. Jordan and her sisters, Virginia and Louisiana (Lou) were, there is no way of knowing if there is a connection.
I have also been in contact with a group of Jordan researchers who have bits and pieces of the decendants of Stephen Jordan and Elizabeth Anna Dean, but none of them have the lineage of his son, Robert Dean Jordan so far.
I will let you know if I find out.
Meanwhile, if anyone else knows the answers to my questions of who was the father of the Jordan sisters of Yazoo Co., MS was, please let me know.
