Your David Jordan was the son of David William, Sr. & Martha Jordan. David, Sr. was the son of Frederick & Mary (Polly) Jordan.

David & Martha's children were:

Catharine b. abt 1848-49 m. a Truby
George b. in the 1850's (most of David Sr.;s property went to George)
Hannah June b.. abt 1855-58 m. Thomas Miles Porter

Samuel b. abt 1858-60
Emmaline (Emeline) m . a Wagner
David William Jr.m. Lydia J. Barger

There was also a Seth D. Garner living in the household. Not sure if he was a son, relative, or a boarder. According to the 1850 census, Susannah Young also was living in the household. I believe she was a niece of David, Sr.


David Jr. was a coal miner. Lydia J.Barger Jordan had a bachelor brother, Phillip, who lived with them.

Oliver P. Jordan 1967-1948 m. May 10, 1900 Mary Ellen Porter. Oliver was a coal miner/laborer. He is buried at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Wentling's Corner, Clarion County, PA

Vest Priscilla Jordan, dau. of Oliver P. and Mary Ellen Porter was b. 7 Oct. 1904 in West Monterey, Perry Twsp.,
Clarion County, PA; she married Bert Roy Edge on 17 June 1955. Bert Edge was b. 28 Oct. 1909 in
Estatac(?), N.C.. He was the son of Joseph & Florence Cox Edge. Joseph was b. Young Co., NC.
Frances was b. Mitchell County, NC
Vest and Bert lived in Lamartine, Clarion County, PA
