Following obiitary published in unknown, Amarillo, Texas, area newspaper, on __ June?/Jul? 1993:
Virgina Jordan
Virgnia Jordan, 73, died, Saturday,
June 26, 1993.
Services will be 11 a.m., Monday,
Jul 5. in St. Peter's Episcopal Church
with the Rev. John D. Walker, rector, of-
ficiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery
Tuesday.
Mrs. Jordan was born in Paris, Ill,
and was raised in Portland, Ore. She
moved to Amarillo in 1945 and married
Judge E. E. "Gene" Jordan in 1943 at
New Orleans. She was active in the law
Wives Association, Texas Researve Offi-
cers Association, Amarillo Little Theater
and was a co-founder of the Texas Non-
Profit Theaters. She was a longtime mem-
ber of the Central Church of Christ and
later joined St. Peter's Episcopal Church.
She moved to California in 1991.
Survivors include two sons, Robert
Jordan of Albewuerque, N. M. and David
Jordan of Amarillo; a daughter, Julie Jor-
dan of Pheoniz, Az.; and four grandchil-
dren.
The family requests memorials be to
Cal Farley's Boys Ranch.
