Thank you very much for your reply.
The reason I requested this information is that I am trying to identify the wife of William Morris, one of whose grandsons was named Jordan Morris, b.ca.1837.Jordan was a son of James Morris and Susan Wade.My theory was that the unidentified wife of William Morris may have been a Jordan.(I guess another possibility is that Susan Wade’s mother was a Jordan.Any thoughts?)According to census age categories, William Morris’s wife would have been born during the range 1794-1804.The dates and information you provided do not fit my criteria unless Susanna was widowed at a young age and remarried a William Morris.I suppose that’s unlikely, however.
Would you happen to know of any other Jordan families in the same general area of eastern/southeastern Williamson Co. or western/southwestern Rutherford Co. whose daughter may have married my William Morris? Thanks.
