Re: Jose family in Penryn, cornwall

Hi !

We are looking at Alfred Jose born around 1855, my mothers grandfather and his father, Thomas Jose (who ended up keeping a sailors home in Falmouth). We do not have a lot to go on ! My mothers mother was Violet Jose, born about 1895 and the family went to London shortly after her birth. Violet married a man by the name of Mabbs.
Mum went down to Penryn but the trail went cold there.
