Re: family history
Glad we connected. Let me tell you some more.
I came to Canada in 1957, stayed four years and worked in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan on the railway.I went back to Falmouth for three years and then came back and lived in Hamilton. In 1966 I married Karen Bryant, who was born in Hamilton, we have two adopted daughters and one daughter of our own.Carla will be 35 next month and works for the Toronto Dominion Bank here in London. She is married to Tom Willson, who is a schoolteacher. They have one son William who will be four this year.I will be 74 this year, my wife will be 65.
Christine and Ray came to Canada in the late 50s and have been here ever since. They have three daughters and I think six grandchildren.Roy and Hazel had two sons Brian and David.Hazel still spends her winters in Florida.
Derek and Eleanor followed us to Canada. They have three children.Derek died some years ago.Len also passed on several years ago, he lived in Oxford. He has one son who I think is an Anglican minister.
I told Christine today that you have been in touch, and she would like to have your mothers address.I think they used to exchange Christmas Cards for a number of years.Christine has moved since then.
I have worked with the United States Soccer Federation for many years, and also with the Canadian Soccer Association on a volunteer basis. History is my speciality.I will track down your son.
I know that it is years since we met in Falmouth and I knew you had moved to Hull, but then I lost track.
It's nice to be back in touch.
