Here is a copy of an email I received. I think if Charles Juzan had married Peggy in 1790, then she became a Trahern after that, not before, and if John married Peggy Trahern, after then this email supports my theory. I say this because I am researching the Trahern family line, and Margaret, or Peggy Trahern and the Juzan line are really confusing since my descendant claims he is her heir in legal documents to her land from the treaty, and he was born in 1816.
here is the emailJennifer, Charles Juzan was married to Phoebe, daughter of Oklahoma who was a brother to Nittakechi. Charles had a brother, Capt. Pierre Juzan and a sister, Mary Hollinger. I have a deed of trust for Phoebe Juzan to Hugh McDonald. It states children ofPhoebe Juzan ,wife of the said deceased Charles Juzan: Delila Wall, Mary LaFloor, Rebeccah Walker, Lucy Gary, I can't read this one. It looks like Sulbee Walker, Eliz Ann Flack, Pierre Juzan and Jackson Juzan. This land was in Lauderdale County, Ms. that Charles received in the Treaty of Dancing Rabbit Creek. This was witnessed by Phoebe's mother & father. Oklahoma & Anun tooner by their x. March 16, 1840. Charles owned a trading post at Koosa Town. I am from Meridian,Ms. Lauderdale Co. and I have visited this old site of Koosa town and have pictures I made.
