NY Kahler line

Hi I'm looking for information about Kahlers that left Germany and settled in NY. I have a Carl W Kahler(1820-1889) who I believed to be born in Germany and immigrated to the USA. He married Joanna(1819-1881), and they had John Kahler(1855-1915).
John Kahler married Betsy Broere(1857-1938). John and Betsy had 6 children, among them Clair Kahler and Raymond Christopher Kahler(d. 1968).
Raymond Christopher Kahler married Maryann Velsor and had 5 children: Virginia Blanch Kahler(1916-1979), Raymond Kahler, Henry Kahler, Dorothy Kahler, and Arthur Kahler. Virginia Blanch Kahler married William Howard Mills(1906-1977) and had my mother.
Raymond Kahler had Cindy Kahler and Raymond Kahler.
Henry Kahler married Sheila and had Guy Kahler.
Dorothy Kahler married a man name Payne.
Arthur Kahler married Lois and had Patricia Kahler, Leslie Kahler, John Kahler, Susan Kahler, and Bradley Kahler.

I am interested in any information about ancestors or decendants of any of these people. I also am trying to find out the ancestry of Carl W Kahler, whether he was of German decent or Dutch decent.
