Seeking descendants of Kahler Family, Allentown, PA 1800's
I am seeking any descendants of the following Kahler family of Allentown, PA. I have information on one branch of your ancestry and would be happy to offer it to you. A. MATHILDA HELFRICH, born March 30, 1818, and married to the Rev. Augustus Griebler on December 24, 1837.There was no issue.She was married a second time to REV. DANIEL KAHLER.She inherited the farm from Peter Hoehn in Maxatawny Township, where she lived.After some years she moved to Allentown.She had six children, three of whom died young.
---i. GERALD KAHLER, born about 1854.Married to Emma Koons.Occupation cigar maker. Living in Allentown as of 1880. One child –

---ii. WARLOW KAHLER, born about 1857. Married to Missouri Horn.Living in Allentown as of 1880 and working in a cigar factory.Four children –

---iii. MARIA KAHLER, born about 1860.Married to Thomas Fenstermacher.They live in Philadelphia, where Mr. Fenstermacher is a lawyer (ca. 1920) and an Elder in Christ Reformed Church.No issue.
