Isaac Kalbaugh (b ca 1802) married Nancy Williams (b 1804).Nancy was the granddaughter of Welsh immigrant John Williams and his wife, Hannah (Finch) Williams of Goshen NY.Nancy's father was Revolutionary War Minute Man William Williams of Bedford and Fayette Cos PA.See Query 5711 at the Williams Gen Forum, and also

Isaac and Nancy are said to have had children named Zadock, William, Alexander, Persis, Isaac, Michael, Katherine, Rebecca, Louisa, Nancy Ellen, Mary Jane and James K. P. Kalbaugh.

The name Isaac Kalbaugh appears in a list of members of the Maryland House of Delegates, Allegany County, for 1856.

Isaac's was not the only Kalbaugh family in Allegany County.The 1850 census shows the family of Michael Kalbaugh, born about 1814.I don't know his relationship, if any, to Isaac.

Isaac Kalbaugh, listed in Frostburg in 1880 as age 46 (or born around 1834), would be the right age to be the son of Isaac and Nancy.It's questionable whether the birthplace of his parents was Germany, as recorded on the census.The Frostburg Isaac would be ten years too old to be Michael's son Isaac, recorded as 6 in 1850 (or born around 1844).
