Kapasi, in Hungarian has an accent over the
second a and it sounds like "a" in amen. The
first a sounds like the a in apple.
Also, note the following:

The i on the end, may have several meanings.
For example: i can also stand for for or
mean that the person is from the town of or
a place called Kapas. So he is a Kapasi
In the old days it was normal to add the suffix to the last name such as i or y, denoting honor.Such as distinguished military service, also it was used as a class
distinction symbol, meaning upper middle or
upper classof society.
