To David,
I've been away from my genealogy for awhile.
I agree the family you mentioned seems to be the same one.
Lar Johan Karlsson (called Louis John Carlson in America) emigrated to Buffalo, New York, USA.After he was naturalized he moved to Boston, Massachusetts. Then Wrentham, Massachusetts, then Milton, Massachusetts.
I also have Chicago/Highwood mentioned in my notes. Don't know the location of Highwood.I've been trying to learn move about those who have emigrated to the United States.
When Lars Johan Karlsson entered, his name was changed to Louis John Carlson.Email and Gust also had their names changed to Carlson. The others were probably changed to Carlson.
Emil, Gustav, Tida, and August married in the U.S.A.I don't know who they married.Their names are so common I'm having difficulty tracing them.
Lar Johan Karlsson, (Louis John Carlsson) is my grandfather.
He married twice. The second time after his first wife died.
Thank you for your reponse.
