Joseph, I presume your Cecil Kasprick went from the town of Neepawa to Winnipeg? His brothers and sisters would have been Norbert, Alfred, Kasmier, Steve, Mary, Helen, Marjorie and Victor. Is any of this familiar? If it is, their parents would have been Stanley and Victoria Kasprick who would have come to Huns Valley now called Polonia in 1894 from Poland. At the time they came over from Europe there was no country called Poland for over 100 years as it had been sub-divided between Prussia, Austia-Hungary and Russia. The country of Poland was re-established again after the First World War.
The Kasprzyk surname is found in nearly all the counties of Poland with a high concentration in Galecia next to the Ukraine. There are Kasprzyk's in Germany and Russia so I suspect that there probably are some in the Ukraine as well.
