Kauzlarich, 73, Ankeny, Dies
Frank Kauzlarich, 73, of Ankeny, died Thursday at the Anderson Nursing Home after a stroke.He had been ill a year.
Born in Yugoislavia, he had lived in Norwoodville as a coal moner for 40 years, retiring in 1939.He was a member of the United Mine Workers of America and Visitation Catholic Church.
Services will be at the church at 9:30 a.m. Saturday with burial at St. Ambrose Cemetery.The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. today at Caldwell-Brien Funeral Home.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Ann Sanford and Mrs. Antonia Fegley, Des Moines, and Mrs. Emma Gibbson, Scranton;three sons, John and Marion, Des Moines, and Louis, of Weldon; a sister, Mrs. Betty Polich, in California, and 10 grand children.
