I found the information in the Parish Records for Three Towns (CD from the Devon Family History Society). In this, I found a marriage documented between William SAUNDERS and Ann KEAST on 2 Sept 1813 in the Plymouth Charles Parish Records.I am trying to confirm that this Ann and William are the same Ann and William Saunders who are documented as having the following children:
1) Mary Ann SAUNDERS bapt on 19 March 1815 in Stoke Damerel, living in Dock, father is a bricklayer
2) William SAUNDERS bapt on 2 Feb 1817 in Plymouth St Andrew living in Plymouth, father is a mason
3) John SAUNDERS bapt 18 July 1819 in Plymouth St Andrew, living in Plymouth, father is a mason
4) Eliza Saunders bapt 21 July 1821 in Plymouth St Andrew, living in Stonehouse, father is a mason
5) James SAUNDERS, bapt 15 May 1825 in East Stonehouse, living in Stonehouse, father is a Stonemason
6) Elizabeth SANDERS (note spelling difference) bapt 27 May 1827 in East Stonehouse, living in Stonehouse, father is Stonemason
7) Caroline Elizabeth SANDERS, bap 15 March 1829 in East Stonehouse, living in Stonehouse, father is a mason
8) Charlotte SAUNDERS, bapt 25 Dec 1831, living in Stonehouse father is a mVictualler
9) Charles Henry SAUNDERS, bap 20 Oct 1833 in East Stonehouse, living in Stonehouse, father is a mason
10) Harriett SAUNDERS, bapt 22 Mar 1835 in East Stonehouse, living in Stonehouse, father is a mason
11) Edward Francis SAUNDERS, bapt 23 April 1837 in East Stonehouse, living in Stonehouse, father is a mason
It's certainly possible that the marriage and births are two different sets of William and Ann Saunders. It's also possible that the children are from 2 or more families; perhaps there were a lot of William Saunders who were masons.I'd love any information you may have to sort this out.
Do you know anything about the Bible Christian Chapel?
