KECKEISEN from Horbach Germany to ILLINOIS

I am a descendent of the Keckeisen family from Horbach, Pfalz, Bayern Germany.Several of the family members immigrated to the US in the 1840s.Most settled in the NY or NJ area, but my 3x great grandfather, Henry (born in 1824), came west and settled in the Chicago Illinois area.His brother John (born in 1822) also came to the northern Illinois area.
