lost keck

my grandmother shared a story with me about the keck side of her family that goes as follows. Now my grandmothers mom (my great grandmother) was rosa jane keck. the family has been told that years ago a keck brother left after a disagreement and was never seen again. now this could be a sibling of john baron keck 1898-1945 or a sibling of his father Isaac church keck1825-1913. when rosa was little her grandfather (isaac) was away for the day and a man stopped by (lots of traveling salesmen would stop by back then) and this man stayed a while and visited but before leaving, he said if you knew who i really was, you would be very suprised! this could have been the lost keck relative..

another strange occourence, rosas brother harley keck was on a trip from california to washington state to visit family. while traveling through oregon he stopped at a little store to grab a few things and the clerk said "hello harley" harley stunned turned and said well how do you know my name? and the clerk said "well you have been coming in to my store everyday for the last 20 years" Now harley had never been to this town or this store he was just traveling through but the family always thought myabe the "harley" mentioned by the clerk could have been a part of the lost keck family...
