Thank you for sharing with the rest of us Mike.
Your encouragement may help some others to help find their answers in DNA because that is exactly where the answers are. The more that will share what they do know, especially about their DNA testing, the more it will help place our ancestors.

There was so much misinformation regarding the Henckel/Hinkle's in America and some genuine surprisesthat the DNA test results Nedra Dickson Brill co-ordinatnated resulted in putting these branches of Hinkle's in America where they belonged ending long-time speculations. There are still lots of questions and work to do but I feel like my Hessian Hinkel being placed was due to some devoted researchers and I can take only part of the credit.Maybe my part was continuing on with my research until I felt I had enough for Nedra to look into and the documents for her to do it with. You will find many postings I did. It took six years for me to get there even after I knew I could prove it. The documents and their sources are next important.

I regret that I can't continue my genealogy research but I have my good days and my bad days and sometimes don't make a lot of sense-I have to another surgery again sometime this winter. But I can cheer you and the others on to find the answers and get on the computer when I am able to see what's new. I have posted under Dotterer, Clarke and Clark. Mildred
