I found the book I was seeking.The title is "Down in the Barns",The Kecks of Claiborne County, Tennessee by Virginia Billingsley Fletcher.I got it mail order.It is a new hard bound copy.That surprised me because it was published in 1983.For me, the book has been extremely helpful.
