William KEBLE/KEEBLE b.circa1831 in New York.

I am researching WilliamKEBLE / KEEBLE who was born in New York circa 1831.I have found his English descendents and I’m now searching for any of his American family. All we know of him is that he had been in the Navy and he settled later on in life in England in Culmstock,Devon.
If anyone can help to make a connection to him or has any info about his life in America I would very much like to hear from you,
