Hi Eileen,
I can't tell from your posting if you have looked at the Calverley site at http://www.calverley.info/http://www.calverley.info/
I think my husband is descended from Mercy Keighley (father John, baptised 1773) who married JohnEllis by licence at St Wilfred's, Calverley in 1797.Her age on the licence (21 in July 1797)is a bit less than the date shown in the church registers and is the age used at her death. So it's best to be cautious about date of birth based on age given at death.
St Wilfred's is where Abraham married Sarah Fairbank in 1791, Benjamin married Rose in 1783 and John married Hannah Busfield in 1746.There are many more Keighleys. The younger generation seems to have attended the Farsley Rehoboth Particular Baptist Church for baptisms and burials though you'd need to check around.
However there seem to be gaps in earlier baptisms and the unfortunate habit of only using the father's name for baptisms does confuse the issue. Some baptisms may have taken place in Leeds or Bradford.
Good luck with your research.
Sue
