i too have a book on the keiper family fromwoman in ohiofay bohaning2807 Heather LaneLaGrangeKY. 4003l dated l983, but I,m n ot sure but she m ay have moved. This family however spells their surname Kiper, as I do.I'm looking for information on my maternal grandparent William Kiper b. Monroe co. Pa., Tobyhanna early in the l800's, possibly @ the l840's who moved to Sullivan co. Pa. and we believe died there though there is no record of his having lived there or any burial date.needless to say with all the old folks deceased and no one to refer to all my info must come through records that are too far for me to travel to access. One tidbit of info I was given is that of the l0 children Mr. Kiper and wife Mary Daily had at least three of them spelled their names Keiper because they say that was the original spelling and that the elder Kiper who was our ancestor didn't know how to read or write so his name was spelled phonetically by those he work with and he learned how to write his name and sign it from what others told him.If you are intereste in info from the book I have I'd be glad to share. The first name given is a Jacob Kipper/Kiper of Germany who landed Phila. Pa. aboard ship Francis & Ann w/Captain Snow My 30,l74l.relocated to
allen twp.Pa. and later listed w/wifel790 in Northampton co. Pa.
