Hello,
It would appear that we are distant cousins.George Henry Kelford was born in West Bromwich in 1873 to Isaiah Onions and Harriett (Baggott) Kelford.George's brothers were Isaiah Baggott Kelford and William Joseph Kelford.Upon the mid-1870s death of wife Harriett, Isaiah married Thirza Williams Hallard in West Bromwich in 1877.They had children Ernest, Randolph, Victor and Eliza.Randolph died in his teens in Sheffield. The other 3 full siblings came to America.Thirza married George Guy in Sheffield after Isaiah died.
While you are interested in those who left for America, I am interested in the Kelford ancestors in England.Ann Rebholz who has posted in this forum can undoubtedly help you. Also, there's a Teresa in the Guy family forum who can help you also.I've corresponded with them both and much of the above Kelford info comes from them.
Your George Henry Kelford's grandmother was Esther (Reynolds) Kelford, sister of my gg grandfather Thomas Reynolds who was born in Bilston in 1848 and died in Pennylvania in 1915.I am very interested in learning more about Esther and her husband Isaac Onions Reynolds.Esther died in Brightside Bierlow in 1887.Do know you anything about her life or where she might be buried? How far back does your information go?I'll be happy to share what I've collected.
I'll close for now.
Tom Reynolds:-)
