Re: lost links
I'm sorry that I can't help you in tracing your Kellicutt linage out of New York.
I have been trying to track down information on Miriam (Moor) Kellicutt who was living in Caton, N.Y. in 1847 and was the sister of my ancestor Ephraim Moor and his brother John. She did a deposition in John Moor's Revolutionary War Pension file attesting to his identity. I also found a Miniam Kellicott in Canton, N.Y. in the St. Lawrence county count of 1847 and the Federal census of 1860.
My reason for wanting information on her is that I have no proof of the parentage of Ephraim, John and Mariam although I know the two possible names either James or Ephraim Moor. I have requested a death record search for Meriam through the Canton NY town clerk's office but have had no reply and may have to travel to Canton to check this out.
Any information you have about her or which would identify her husband would be appreciated.
