Re: my Kendall Line

Thank you for the very informative message which I am still trying to digest. One of problems is that the following names do not appear in my Kendall line; Martha Goff, Elizabeth Wills, Elizabeth Combs, Jemima Kirk. Your line has Thomas (1645-1710); Thomas (1669-1716); William (1692-1741); William (1716-1777). My line has William (1575-1655); John "Kinsman" (1617-1679) Thomas(1672-1720); William (1695-1777). Info that I obtained from the DAR Library In D.C.
has William Kendall (1575-1655) married to Mary Leigh in 1695 and their grandaughter married Hancock Lee of Virginia. In 1615 this William K. married Elizabeth Arlington. Their son John "Kinsman" (because he also had a half brother named John from William's marriage to Mary Leigh) married Susanna Savage in 1667. I believe the first Kendall to arrive in Virginia is William (1575-1655)
