Stephen KENDALL (b. abt 1840 - probably in MD or VA) married Rebecca Ann BURCH (BIRCH) (b. abt. 1840).They had at least 3 children:Sarah Elizabeth KENDALL (b. 20 May 1864 - Harper's Ferry, VA) who married Thomas James ELBOURN, (b. 1 Dec 1858 - Edesville, Kent, MD), Columbus KENDALL (dates, spouse, children unknown), and Mary Melvina KENDALL (dates, spouse, children unknown).Thomas James ELBOURN is a brother of my grandfather, William Henry ELBOURN.
