I believe your Mary Kendall may be in the Kendall family that I am researching.I have Mary Kendall as a daughter of Lewis and Sarah Kendall from Ellington Township, Adams County, Illinois. I just found the obituary for Lewis (1810-3 Feb. 1888) and it lists a Mrs. T.W. Yates of Glenn Elder, Kan. as his daughter.They are found in the censuses of 1850 and up in Ellington (Quincy).Surprisingly in 1860 Mary Yates 24 is found in Ellington with her parents and son Franklin age 6 and George age 2, she's listed as a widow. But in 1870 a William and Mary are in Tennessee Township, McDonough Co., Illinois with their family.I would like to know if these facts fit with yours, I have more on the Kendall family.Thanks, Jonee Platt
