The McKenzie brothers were from McNairy Co. TN. Their sister, Mary Elizabeth married Nathaniel Alexander Erwin. The two boys returned to McNairy Co in 1861 along with Nathaniel Erwin Kendrick to claim inheritence when their father died. This is the only mention I have of them in this Civil War diary.
