p.295.Sir John Kennedy of Grenane, miles (soldier) was served heir to his father,
John Kennedy of Baltersanne 22 August 1609.

Was Sir John Kennedy of Grenane an older brother of
Gilbert Kennedy of Glenluce and Hugh Kennedy of Chapell, nr Stranraer, Wigtownshire ?
In 1627 Gilbert Kennedy disponed Uchterlure to Sir John McDowell of Garthland.

I am not sure of the children of Gilbert Kennedy –
did he and his wife, Helen Adair, have a son, also a Rev. Thomas Kennedy ?
