Hi Adele:We believe that my Kenny ancestors also were originally from Strokestown or very near there.My gr.gr. granfather was John Kenny who was born abt. 1840 in Roscommon and emigrated to Baltimore MD as a young child.His Father was almost certainly Michael Kenny born most probably Strokestown around 1805.I have so little on the family in Ireland, but Strokestown has been mentioned by several of my older relatives. Any chance you've come across a Michael Kenny?
