Thank so much for your note. I've not found any reference to a Michael Kenny in any of the documents I've located. My ancestors settled in Brooklyn. The first to arrive in America was Patrick Joseph Kenny (b.1869 in Roscommon), who came to the US around 1889. It is, of course, possible that there is a family connection. Have you come across the names Patrick Joseph Kenny or Martin and Anne Kenny (Patrick's parents)?
