My Grandmother Elizabeth Lilian McCartney (nee Kenny) was born in Strokestown, Roscommon in 1922. She had 2 sons(my father) Patrick McCartney who moved to Manchester, England aged 8 and Frances McCartney who moved to the London area. She also had a daughter Marie Philamena McCartney who also moved over to Manchester. Both Elizabeth and Marie are buried in Dukinfield Cemetary in England. I wonder if we are from the same Family???
