Hello Kathleen,Thank you very much for all your efforts with this information. It's certainly helped me a lot.The Kenny family in Heywood, Lancashire, do seem to be the right one and this has given me a lot of leads to follow up on.I am less sure about John and Anna Kenny though, as apart from the discrepancies of their birth years, the 1910 U.S.census has them both arriving in 1890 but you say the 1900 U.S. census has John arriving in 1882 and Anna in 1885.I wonder what happened to Edward, Owen and Mary Jane as they don't appear to have emigrated with their widowed father.I have James Lawrence Kenny's death certificate but it does not have any details of his place of birth or his parents on it, unlike, I believe, the U.S. ones do.Catherine did marry Patrick Gerrety and the details of the children are correct thank you.Thank you once again for the leads. Best wishes, Brian.
