My Kenney ancestors sound much the same as yours.My gggrandfather, Patrick Kenney/Kinney/Kenny (seen it spelled many ways) came to US in 1845 with 3 bros., settled in Savannah, Georgia area. He was born circa 1804 lived to be over 100. The other bros.(thru family lore) went to the northwestern US.I don't know their names.My Kenney was said to have come from Dublin, Ireland.Let me know if you see a match here.
