Hi - Just noticed your query on this list.We believe our Kennys came from Galway, but that has not been verified.But we have also been told that there were 4 brothers who left Ireland during the potato famine.Two came here to the USA and two to Australia.We do not have names of those and that is not verified either.The brothers who came to North America actually finally settled in Canada.My husbands ggrandfather was Thomas and went to Barrie, Ontario and married.The other brother (name not given) settled in Guelph (sp) and never married.Could this be the same tree?
