I have a family by the surname of Kentish dating back to the early 1700s.

The couple were John Kentish and Frances Russell who had 12 children from 1744 to 1765.

Some of the family were jewelers, watchmakers and silversmiths.

The son who had the largest family was Samuel who married Susannah Holden.
