Thanks for the info.Nathaniel was joiner specifically sash, blinds & doors. I believe he is the NS Kingon in the 1840 Michigan Census. Two sons, George (b. Mar. 17. 1840 d. Mar. 20 1922[my ggfather] m. 1st wife Carrie Gunn b. 1844 d. 1870 m. 2nd wife Helen A. Brown b. 1852 d. 1896) & Henry (b. Dec. 16, 1842 d. Dec. 30, 1888 m. DeEtta Everts b. 1848 d. 1926) were born in Michigan. The next child Mary 1844-1926 m. James Laney b. 1840 d. 1885 followed by Sidney b. Apr. 1846 d. Jul 17, 1904 m. Ida M, LNU, Frank b. 1849, Olivia b. 1850, Harriet (aka Hattie) b. 16 Dec. 1852 d. may 10, 1927 m. 1st husband FNU Etz m. 2nd husband 1881 Isaac Merrill b.1856, were all born in Onondaga County, New York.I have not found Nathaniel in the 1850 Census. He turns up in Ithaca, Tompkins County, New York in the 1860 Census. He remained there until his death in 1895. Children born in Ithaca Helen 1855-1862, Charles 1857-1862, Ellsworth 1861-1862, Edward b.1864 d. 1934 m. Eleanor Clark, Jessie 1867- 1848 m. circa 1900 Frank M. Weller, b. 1866, d. 1940. These 12 Children had very few children. 3 died before reaching adulthood. George had 2 children, Henry had 4, Mary had 4, Harriet had 1, Edward had 1, Sidney, Frank & Jessie had no children, & Olivia I know nothing about.
