Anna Marguerite Kemberling
Mrs. Kemberling, 83, of 1511 Allegheny St., Hollidaysburg, died at 8:35 a.m. Wednesday, April 3, 1985, in Mercy Hospital, after an extended illness.
Mrs. Kemberling retired as a nurse’s aide from the Allegheny Lutheran Home, Hollidaysburg.
She was born Sept. 11, 1901, in Geeseytown, the daughter of Samuel B. and Anna Mae (Eicholtz) Helsel, and was twice married, first to Charles R. Clapper, who died in 1940, then to Edward Kemberling, who died in 1954.
Surviving are a son, Kenneth Clapper of Hollidaysburg, three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are two brothers, S. Blair of Hollidaysburg and Edgar of Hollidaysburg RD 2.
Mrs. Kemberling was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Hollidaysburg.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Thursday in the Plank & Stitt Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg.
Services for Anna M. Kimberling of 1511 Allegheny St., Hollidaysburg, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Plank & Stitt Funeral Home Inc., Hollidaysburg, by the Rev. Dr. Russell B. Norris.Interment in Presbyterian Cemetery, Hollidaysburg.Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
